DevOps Engineer

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be proactive in managing, deploying and monitoring Azure cloud and On-Premise clusters and infrastructure. Arkieva values a wide variety of experience and background skills and is looking for someone to integrate into our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement effective DevOps strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our software development and deployment processes.
  • Collaborate with teams to manage and design best practices into our software development life cycle.
  • Optimize existing structures to quickly build and deploy enterprise software on both private and public cloud infrastructure
  • Improve and or retool monitoring and alerting of software and cluster applications in production and non-production environments
  • Help implement security policy and best practices

 

SKILLS AND EDUCATION

  • 5 years experience in DevOps, with a focus on building and deploying Kubernetes clusters.
  • Understanding and experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, Ansible and Microsoft DevOps server.
  • Experience with and writing automation scripts Bash, PowerShell, and Python. Skills in Go a plus.
  • Experience debugging and triaging production issues
  • Strong understanding of network protocols and security
  • Work with and management of Linux based systems.
  • Good communication skills

Software Solutions Consultant

Responsible for consulting activities for the implementation and support of technical solutions or operational enhancements of Arkieva Software solutions.

LOCATIONS

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in the implementation, testing and support of complex applications using Arkieva software.
  • Translate design specifications into detailed coding.
  • Develop business process engineering solutions.
  • Work with project team and customer experience team to implement and support Arkieva supply chain solutions.
  • Provide live customer support solutions for support tickets and customer tasks outlined in Support Request or small-scale project SOW.
  • Be knowledgeable in all areas Arkieva software solution such as demand planning, inventory management, optimization and scheduling, working towards becoming an expert in a minimum of one area.
  • Up to 10% travel to customer sites, including global trips.
  • Perform other duties as required.

 

SKILLS AND EDUCATION

  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Understanding of integrated supply chain planning concepts, business process engineering principles and be comfortable with positioning decision support system against ERP Systems. Ability to think like a user.

Senior Software Solutions Consultant

Responsible for consulting activities while leading the implementation of technical solutions or operational enhancements in support of Arkieva Software solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation, testing and support of complex applications using Arkieva software.
  • Work alongside Business Partners to define business requirements and recommend technical approach to meet those needs. Complete design specifications translating business requirements into detailed coding.
  • Implement projects and Arkieva supply chain solutions from solution analysis to go-live while administering changes as necessary.
  • Provide live customer support solutions for support tickets and complex issues.
  • Develop and present hour-long webinars on Arkieva solutions or supply chain topics.
  • Be an expert in a minimum of two areas of Arkieva software solution such as demand planning, inventory management or optimization (LP/MIP) models to formulate complex supply chain solutions.
  • Experience working directly with customers on a minimum of 6 projects and a variety of implementations.
  • Assist in the development of consultants and act as a mentor.
  • Up to 20% travel to customer sites, including global trips.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Project Manager

Together with our Consulting Services Team and Customer Experience experts you will successfully complete implementation projects. You will drive the project from design through Go Live and Aftercare. Focus will be on Customer’s Supply Chain processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects from business requirements through after-care, validating final solution satisfies the defined requirements outlined in the Statement of Work.
  • Prepare and lead meetings. e.g., Design Workshop, weekly updates, retrospective meeting, training sessions, etc.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, Risk & Issue Registry, and milestones for all assigned projects.
  • Monitor and control project scope, budget, priorities, quality, risks and schedule.
  • Prepare and communicate status reports, escalations, agenda / notes and change requests.
  • Manage project dashboards, resource requirements.
  • System Administrator for project management tools.
  • Leverage and support Arkieva project management methodology, tools, and templates.
  • Participate in pre-scoping presales activities to enable development of Statement of Work.
  • Up to 25% travel for training and workshops including global trips.
  • Hybrid workplace, being available during EU and US East Coast time zone as required

Supply Chain Planning Optimization Consultant

Responsible for consulting activities while leading the design and implementation of optimization solutions or operational enhancements in support of Arkieva Software solutions. Must be able to articulate results to customers in practical terms.

While knowledge of LP programming and applied mathematics are required for the position, Arkieva has a standardized LP configurator as a starting point for Supply Chain Planning optimization models. The selected candidate must have the ability to interpret the output of a model and educate the user on the results.

Responsibilities

  • Practical experience in supply chain planning so that model results can be explained in user friendly, easily understood terms.
  • Be an expert in Arkieva software solution optimization (LP/MIP) models to apply complex supply chain solutions.
  • Lead the design and implementation of optimization-based applications using Arkieva software. Using the standard model, add additional constraints and variables, conflicting objectives, and their numerical parameters to the model.
  • Expertly convert supply planning problems to Arkieva’s optimization framework.
  • Study and analyze information about alternative courses of action to determine which plan will offer the best outcomes.
  • Perform validation and testing of models to ensure adequacy and reformulate models as necessary.
  • Support Customer Experience Team by developing technical solutions to solve customer business problems or new requirements.
  • Implement Arkieva supply chain solutions projects, from solution analysis to go-live.
  • Define and successfully implement industry specific solutions.
  • Be a “go-to” person for complex, strategic problems, and implementation solutions.
  • Assist in the development of Sr. Consultants and act a mentor.
  • Up to 30% travel to customer sites, including global trips.

Skills and Education

  • Ability to master Arkieva’s model definition screen / LP configurator.
  • Ability to stretch existing knowledge to generate possible solutions for new or unconventional problems is a requirement.
  • Strong written and verbal communication. Ability to communicate in formal and informal discussions with customers and throughout all levels of the organization.
